I know a similar pic was uploaded a few days ago, but I doubt you guys mind. The scale of the building is really impressive.

How many floors are completed so far? Looking forward to the start of three light's construction as well.

Based on the latest photo they're up to the floor of 13 and 14 for the elevator shaft.
Looks like the patio is at level 8

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand
For people that aren't in KC, or haven't been down to PnL lately, I'd just like to say that in my opinion the difference is going to be incredible. I can't even imagine if we get to four or five light.
I loved seeing One Light go up and it did a lot to freshen up downtown, but it never felt like a huge change to me. Two light seems different. It feels really substantial.
I know there's been a lot of talk about the "cordish wall", but I guarantee you won't care once you spend time in downtown. Having height on that side running east/west is going to completely change downtown, but especially the PnL area.
Most of you probably already know this, but I thought I'd share my enthusiasm for the project since pictures don't really do it justice.

I was downtown for about 15 minutes Saturday and at ~50% height it's already changing the feel of that area in a noticeable way.joshmv wrote:Most of you probably already know this, but I thought I'd share my enthusiasm for the project since pictures don't really do it justice.
The big change will be the foot traffic. There really was no reason to move E-W along Truman Road and that's going to change.

Yeah, for some reason a couple users here seem to like Google Photos... which does that in short order.

The building looks great from the Live District view, ominous. Just wish they used different glass from One Light to mix things up.

I've overheard at least a handful of people talking about it this week with the NCAA going on. The advertising along main plus seeing the two buildings is pretty good advertising.
I think it looks fine, as long as they start to mix things up for 3.
