Developers ready to roll on $100M Federal Reserve hotel project
A Super TIF? Good luck...
http://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/n ... serve.htmlBob Long, a development services specialist with the Economic Development Corp. of Kansas City, said Delta Quad Holdings seeks a 10-year, 100 percent abatement of all new property tax revenue generated by the $100 million project, as well as Super TIF.
If approved, the Super TIF would capture all economic activity tax revenue generated by the project for 23 years and divert it to cover eligible development costs. In addition, it would divert all new property tax revenue in years 11-23.
A Super TIF? Good luck...

Any renderings? Interesting that they have decided to spilt the addition/ side building off into a boutique hotel.

Re: Old Federal Reserve (925 Grand)
No super TIF for this! Why give TIF to compete with the new Hyatt in a building that is in ready to go shape, has more than enough garage space, and will just need interior gut to make into hotel. Wonder if the mechanicals and HVAC can be used for hotel? This is not a falling apart building like the Savoy.
