There are some bizarre t-shirts on that site. But you've been looking for a I'm Voting For Brandon Ellington shirt, I have good news.

Who doesn't want a postcard with a massive tower of smoke in the background?

HUD has a neat mapping tool that does a lot of cool things: http://egis.hud.gov/affht_pt/

The US Census has a very cool in/outflow map. It lets you see where people are moving from when they move to a specific county, or where they move to when they leave that county:
http://flowsmapper.geo.census.gov/flowsmapper/map.html
Most of KC is either from or leaving for the same places: other parts of Missouri, the Northeast, or LA/SF.

Re: Cyber-Awesomeness!
I wonder what counts as "from". Does that only count people born in the area from which they are migrating to KC, or would it count folks who moved away for a few years or a decade or two, then came back?
I'm sure this would be spectacularly easy to find out, but I'm too lazy to bother with the research at 11:45 on a Saturday night.

it's probably based since the last time asked, the previous census. this is how I think of ifmean wrote:I wonder what counts as "from". say someone was born in KC in 1960 and in the 1980 census they still lived here (no college, got a job)
then by 1990 the had moved to somewhere else, say Omaha. in 1990 they were marked as moving from KC to Omaha
then in 2005 they move back to KC. in 2010 they're marked as moving from Omaha to KC.
they doubtless do the survey more frequently but that's what I see as the idea. it doesn't matter where you report as being from, it would be where you actually lived
