Re: Zona Rosa hotel
Zona Rosa has always had a hotel or two as part of their masterplan. Other Steiner developments have multiple hotels.
I think it would be a great site. ZR is so close to the airport. It would be a great spot for a business travel to get to dinner and drinks.

Re: Zona Rosa hotel
I'm not necessarily sold on that specific location, there is no direct access there from I-29. If people get off at MO-152 they have to drive down to Amity and get off and come back up, won't seem too logical to out-of-towners. Something that is visible and directly accessible from I-29 would have been better. The closest thing is the old Ramada up on Prairie View and Skyview Drive, but again, no direct access, by the time you see it you're half a mile past the exit for it.
If they can get some good advertising along I-29, being that its anchored in ZR then it probably has a decent chance; better chance if it could have been directly visible from the Interstate, but oh well.

I would like to see a hotel at Zona Rosa. When we come down from Omaha we always stop there and it would be nice to stay at a good hotel there and be able to walk around the shops, eat at HH or go spend time at B&N.Zona Rosa has always had a hotel or two as part of their masterplan. Re: Zona Rosa hotel
Well, his post above said "nice" hotel. Unless something new has opened over there, the couple of places are motels not hotels and I wouldn't classify them as nice. They aren't nasty and run-down, but they aren't Courtyard Marriott's. I could see a nicer, more upscale place in the ZR area so that people could stay there and be in walking distance. Otherwise you're going to be staying up off 112th St. or Tiffany Springs Rd and not be within walking distance.mgsports wrote:Their's some on Barry Road.

I don't need to see the sign. I just wanted some visual of the plot you mentioned.
