It is that time of year again
Last February, I visited the Liberty Memorial when there was snow on the ground. On the way back to the car, I noticed a bare
branch against a wintery sky in the west and snapped its picture. This year, it is featured on my Christmas postcard. Here it is
in e-form. May all of you enjoy the season, no matter what you believe.

Re: It is that time of year again
It is now 2012. I took this picture when my husband and I visited the Walmart Visitor Center in Bentonville, AR. Our primary
destination was the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. I had the card made into 5x7" puzzles and sent them to
Christmas card recipients. This version is for you guys. There are more "pieces" in this version, but you don't have to put it together.
You do have to find the greeting, assuming you want to do so. It has to do with a puzzle of sorts.

And now it is December, 2013. I took this picture of a bird ornament when I visited Branson in November last year. Adding "Merry Christmas" seemed appropriate.
May you enjoy the season, however you celebrate it.

Don't be offended if I say Merry Christmas. And I won't make an issue of it if you say Seasons Greetings or Happy Holidays, or whatever. So Merry Christmas to all.

Re: It is that time of year again
As some of you may remember I am a fan of certain old movies, especially around this time of the year. Caught an old one today, Bells of St. Mary's. Interesting in that one of the plots had to do with the building of a new company headquarters building next to an old Catholic grade school which is very urban, the assumption that it takes place in NYC. Now, remember, this movie was made in 1944. The company owner wanted the old school to build a parking lot for his employees. The nuns at the school wanted the new building to replace the old school. Movie had a happy ending in that the building owner donated the building to replace the school.
Just think, the surface parking lot vs urban life has been going on for a very long time.

Don't the years fly by? We are at the end of 2014. Here is this year's wish for you all. My son took this picture with his iPhone and
created the glowing lights via Photoshop. I added the greeting. (Too lazy to change last year's font, but I like it.)
