Has anyone else noticed the transit light when going SB on Burlington at 10th Ave in NKC?
I wonder why it's not used any more?

Re: NKC bus service
The shoulders where people park now have buses only written on them in some random places. I think burlington used to have a dedicated lane for buses? That since is long gone.

Re: NKC bus service
They did this as a temporary measure when I-29/35 was closed for several months during the bridge work. I haven't seen it used since the bridge re-opened, probably not enough traffic to require it.

That's correct. I thought it might be used again when the Broadway Extension was shut down, but was told the traffic counts probably wouldn't (and apparently didn't) require it.

Re: NKC bus service
everyone took I-35 this time and made it into a 30mph road. I don't even bother to get on I-35 at the loop since it's backed up to Broadway at 4:30.
the HOA bridge backs up all the way to I-35 some days at 4:30
there's a lot more traffic on 6th, at 3rd and Grand and at the Front St and I-35 intersections than normal at 4:30
yeah, they didn't think it would be as bad as it got. I'm glad I'm not downtown an hour later.
