I guess I came to the opposite conclusion. He wasn't being tried for 2cd degree murder, the description of the crime was the very definition of manslaughter.KCPowercat wrote:Horrible story all around but I tend to agree with the verdict.

Parents sue Westport groups for son's 2010 death
Brian Euston, 24, was found in the early morning hours of Dec. 10, 2010, with a head injury at Westport Road and Mill Street. He had been out with friends at Kelly’s Westport Inn. Euston died several days later.
His parents, Kevin and Kathy Euston, filed suit May 2 in Jackson County Circuit Court against security company Chesley Brown International Inc., the Westport Community Improvement District and the Westport Regional Business League.
