To compute your average life altitude score multiply the floor on which you have slept in each house, condo, or apartment where you have lived by the number of years you lived there. Add them up and divide that number by your age.

1.455 1,53, assuming that my basement apartment at Twin Oaks should be scored as -1. Or 1.58 1.66 if a basement apartment is scored as 0.
(Adjusted because I forgot about one of the places I lived.)
I'm in a bit of a quandary about how to score the place I live in now, though. From the sidewalk it's the 3rd floor, but from where the entrance is (and therefore how the floors are numbered) it's the 2nd. I went with 2nd.

2.79 with some average of dorm and summer housing mixed in. Not bad.
