Re: Structure Fire??
there was a riot on the streets
Tell me where were you
you were sittin' home watchin' your tv
While I was participating in some
anarchy
First spot we hit it was my liquor store
I finally got all
the alcohol I can't afford
With red lights flashin' time to
retire
Oh tho we turned that liquor store into a structure
fire
Next stop we hit it was the music shop
It only took one
brick to make the window drop
Finally we got our own p.a.
Where
do you think I got this guitar that you're hearing today
When we
returned to the pad to unload everything,
It dawned on me that I need
new home furnishings
So once again we filled the van until it was
full
Since that day my livin' room's been more comfortable

Well I made an extra trip to drive by, but there was nothing. No visible fire, no police activity nota so who knows.
A lot of news crews were parked on Grand in front of Sprint Center, but it looked like there was something going on there tonight.

Big KU game tonight at Sprint Center I believe.
EDIT -- something to do with basketball anyway, I don't know if KU is involved tonight. Maybe someone who actually reads the sports section of this board can take a look and report back....

KU fans? KCTV 5? In Downtown KCMO? No wonder there's mass confusion! We're talking about KU fans and KCTV 5 in a viberant urban core. They don't know what to do...or where to park without getting towed.KCLover wrote: That explains it, I saw a lot of people walking around in KU shirts.
Or...maybe they think the KU basketball team will set the Sprint Center on fire tonight...and that would be the "stucture fire"?

Re: Structure Fire??
If they're reporting its by the Power and Light District, that probably means the fire is just of 41st and Troost.AllThingsKC wrote: KU fans? KCTV 5? In Downtown KCMO?
