Why should I "look" for that?  B/c you pulled it out of your ass?

Neither of those players has trade value right now, and very little left on the current roster does either.

Have a hard time believing anyone would make a statement like that. But if true, you were well founded in your response MD.

Try this:

http://sportsblog.kansascity.com/?q=94

Neither Edwards nor team president Carl Peterson elaborated Wednesday on whom or what, if they deal draft picks, would be part of any future trade package. Tight end Tony Gonzalez and running back Larry Johnson, probably the most attractive players according to talent, have huge contracts that likely would repel most teams.

Still, a little more than two full days remain before Jake Long officially becomes the first pick Saturday. That gives the Chiefs plenty of time to make a move -- and add to their pile of draft picks.

"We might have 20 by Saturday," Edwards said.
I may be right.  I may be wrong.  But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

I dont think we need LJ anymore..not with this disgrace of an OL..thats now bound to get worse..."and with the first two picks..the kansas city chiefs pick (insert two random DL players names here)"
What's graciously given to KC, is strong for the region as a whole.  Passion and benevolence will one day exeem towards all whom know true adoration.  We shall triumph to better the community as One within

first thing I said when I walked out of the RCA dome after the playoff game is "Trade LJ".  Guess my bro isn't making any front office decisions though...unfortunately.

Went to the Royals game and checked out the Chiefs offices being built. Must say...not impressed. No surprises there.

I've seen the plans. I think the building will look stupid.

After the Chiefs' second-round pick and third overall, the ESPN announcers were gushing about how KC has by far the best draft so far. Since I haven't paid any attention to the draft discussion, I don't know if they mean it, but literally every one of them agreed that Carl Peterson is doing great so far.

1st round: Glenn Dorsey DT, Brandon Albert OG
2nd round: Brandon Flowers CB

The Chiefs are easily having the best draft so far. I could not be any happier right now with our picks.

Everyone at ESPN said ""A+ for Carl Peterson!"

Yea, I'm really pleased as well. I can't believe Glenn Dorsey fell into our laps. I'm not that high on Albert, he seems kinda smallish, but everyone else seems to like him quite a bit. That corner from Va Tech looks really good.

Our second day picks are a bit more questionable. Another RB? Another TE? What about some more depth at offensive line? How bout more depth at corner? How bout a linebacker to replace Donnie Edwards someday?

Overall though, I can live with it. Dorsey should be fun to watch.

I would still draft another QB, there are still 2 QB's left that will probably start someday in the NFL. Matt Flynn of LSU and Andre Woodson of Kentucky.
