Devin's doesn't bother me. Height is the problem. Too much scrolling.

Also, when spending 20 hours a week at work reading this site, big pictures make it obvious you aren't reading anything work-related.

I'm also in favor of getting rid of photos in the signature. If someone needs more room for self-expression then the avatar, let them link to their own web site. 2-3 lines should be plenty of room for a signature.
