Re: T-Mobile Center (formerly Sprint Center)
I just got back.... everything about this place blew me away.... way beyond my expectations. The NABC is amazing and going to be a huge draw! I got tons of pictures, will post them a little later this afternoon. Oh and the pedestrian traffic on the streets is amazing too!

Re: Sprint Center opening day pictures
all you have to do is put the url of the picture
i.e
http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r61/ ... G_0015.jpg
highlight it and press the little "img" icon
when posted that results in:
with photobucket it automatically does it for you, just click on the "IMG Code" instead of on the "HTML Tag"

KC Region is all part of the same animal regardless of state and county lines.

I like that in the CBE, you can "picture yourself" as either a KU Jayhawk or Mizzou Tiger player!

Yeah, I had just posted these on a different forum and the procedure for doing so is different. In a matter having nothing to do with the Sprint Center but of interest to folks on here from what I've read in the past, this was the view from my apartment in NYC.

There is a "MetroSports Zone"? Things are really getting out of hand when you copycat a copycat.

Re: Sprint Center opening day pictures
Just got back as well. Incredible!
- The ride up the huge escalators was crazy. People with vertigo are gonna freak, so they better take the stairs. You just keep going and going.
- As you can see in the photos, the views out are spectacular.
- The seats are really packed in and I feel bad for large people.
- Got a peak into one of the suites. Not overly impressed but maybe they have more work to do. Just kind of bland. I'm comparing it to the Fleet Center suites which I've been in a few times.
- Got into the Founders Club on the first level. Looks very nice but we were quickly turned around and escorted out.
- Like Scooter, the pedestrian traffic was awesome.
- CBE will be great for the kids.

Yay! Another former New Yorker. I was feeling a bit lonely.WallStHawk wrote: Yeah, I had just posted these on a different forum and the procedure for doing so is different. The Municipal Building tower has always been one of my favorite NYC buildings. It often gets lost or ignored because there are just so many great buildings there, but it would be a landmark tower on any other city's skyline. I think it's a magical building.

I should clarify, that picture is from the 52nd floor roof deck and obviously facing north. My actual unit was a few floors below and faced west with views of the Woolworth Building.

I've got about 40 pics coming...Sprint Center, Concessions, Basketball Experience, etc. This place is f$cking amazing! One minor disappointment was no televisions in the restrooms.

Quiktrip? Really? Can I buy smokes in the new arena? Perhaps get a hotsie or a QT dog? I'm intrigued....
