NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) --
...Manhattan real estate agent Tom Postilio said there is a waiting list of seven or eight people hoping to pay $225,000 for one of five private parking spaces that has been approved in the basement of 246 West 17th Street, a 34-unit condo development scheduled for completion next January...

LED ribbon lighting, whatever it's called, is currently in motion on the Grand side of the arena; American flags and abstract blobs are fluttering.

So can we read into that blacked out picture of a rock star holding a left handed fiddle shaped bass guitar that our first performer will be Paul McCartney?

Anyone else notice the "Hard Rock Cafe" sign in one of the renderings they showed in that video?

He is scheduled to kick off a World Tour in September of this year.  Locations have not been announced.

the only thing that confuses me is, everyone that I've talked to about the PNL said that there will be no HRC and they showed it more than once in the video... one can only hope.

Wasn't that an old rendering? I kow the arena rendering in that pic was way outdated, so I'm assuming it was just a bullshit sketch of "potential" tenants.

Great Video. Its good that this thing is nearing compleation. Lets hope that the and other events coming to this arena are as entertaining or more than the fun we had watching it being built.

how many times do I have to say that three years ago some folks from HRC let it slip to me that they had started doing their site markups and figuring out all the small details about having a HRC here..they were well past deciding whether or not there would be one located here.

They got some lights on in there tonight. You can see the upper deck concourse and the main entrance concourse with the giant escalators from Grand pretty good.
