For many years, I advocated for children of some of these women.

They can be found anywhere. Women in the Pitch do both "incalls" and "outcalls" and may go anywhere to hook up with their men. Most of the ones I dealt with lived "on the Avenue" but not all. Sometimes their children ran their phones and schedules.

If you read the article, the bust was primarily about human trafficking, not prostitution. World wide, this is a huge problem. I think it was well worth the effort by the OPPD.

Does anybody have the details of where these parlors were in Johnson County.  With all the strip malls of old deteriorating I'm sure you could run a decent operation out there.  I guess they had it coming for a while.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I read the 175 agents and thought damn, and read the 4 arrests and said that's it?

That's our tax dollars at work folks. It's like the blind leading the blind except were dealing with moron cops following around the FBI.

Well, part of the point is that they are making their presence known and not taking the issue lightly. I assume that it takes pretty specific circumstances to actually make an arrest, like catching something going down or something, but I'm sure it doesn't help business to have these busts tearing through whether there is an arrest or not.

This story could not have broken at a better time for me.    Yesterday morning I was arguing with a co-worker who claimed that there are no whorehouses anymore, and especially none out in the suburbs where he lives.    A few hours later I shoved this article in his face.
