VERY NICE, THANK YOU!!!!! WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THE P&L? I NOTICED THAT THERE ISN'T MUCH WORK HAPPENING TO THE THEATER. NICE SHOTS OF THE H&R BLOCK BUILDING, AND THE STAR. IT'S AMAZING THAT THIS PLACE WILL BE READY IN OCT. LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF WORK LEFT TO BE DONE. AND AGAIN VERY NICE PICTURES THANK YOU. :)

I was at Danny Edward's Barbeque for lunch 2 weeks ago and talked to a couple of construction workers while waiting in line. I said, "Wow, it's hard to believe that most of the P&L District will be complete and open in October."  The construction worker behind me immediately said, "It's never gonna happen. There's no way we'll be done by October."  As soon as he said that the construction worker in front of me replied, "Yes, we'll be finished on time with a grand opening in October."  The one behind me kept shaking his head "No" while the one in front of me said, "It'll happen, trust me."  So who knows...

Echo that.  Those are some great shots.  Thanks for posting!

It looks like the core of the district will be done by October, lots of progress has been made in the last couple months.

I am worried about the Main Street Theatre and the President Block.  Those look like they have a long way to go still.

Great pics, as always, Tosspot. There is progress on every block of this district.

The red brick buildings look surprisingly utilitarian....like schools or fire stations.  Are they trying to mimic anything in particular with these?  Otherwise, really enjoyed the shots.  Thanks.

I imagine the eventual signage will make up for the austere facades.

Stunning pictures, as usual. "...as usual."  Hmm. No, not "as usual." You continue to improve your personal best. All we can do is sit back and applaud. And admire. Those tall, silvery buildings come to life at your touch.

It would be interesting if you took pictures in the exact same locations as these one year from now.

speaking of that, I have some pictures I took before any construction took place...and made a note of the locations...I was going to take pictures throughout construction but with some many areas being closed, I'm doing it just when construction is over.

Monet sort of did that in 1890-1891.
