Indeed, it is quite impressive architecturally. St. Jo has been around for awhile.

Maybe on an upcoming weekend, if I can come up with a good route, I'll ride to St. Jo and take pictures. I'm no tosspot or Grid, however.

To that point, has anyone spent any time travelling on highway 371 between Platte City and St. Jo?

Staubio, have you ever driven K 5 to Leavenworth?
You can then head North thru Atchison, cross over to St. Joe and come down the Mo. Side.

Looks like a solid route, though I'm going to have to play with all of the county roads to shorten it a bit north of Atchison.  I'll check it out, thanks.

I havebeen to St. Joe a number of times in my life. If I was up to it I would love to drive up to Joe Town. I know that the downtown has gone through a redo a number of years ago.

Ok, as of right now, I am *planning* on going to St. Joe to take picture of their downtown area sometime next week.  Whether or not I actually make it up there is another story.  But, I am working on it.

Anyway, if I do make it up there, keep in mind, I won't have Grid or Tosspot-quality photos.  But, I should still be able to get at least a few good ones...
KC is the way to be!

It reminds me of a deserted downtown with very few people walking around. Oh, just like downtown Kansas City, Kansas.
