97 Percent of Downtown Housing Occupied

Post by FangKC »

Fox 4 News reported this evening that 97 percent of currently built lofts, apartments, and condos located downtown are occupied.

How great is that?

Actually it is just rental housing that is 97% occupied. So I guess that would be apartments, not lofts or condos. (Are lofts rented? I wouldn't know, I'm not even enough to have one yet.)

Yep, there are rental lofts and condos (townhouses) downtown.

It's been running over 90% for probably close to ten years. It continues to fill up as fast as it gets built. The Downtown Council has studies saying that there is enough pent-up demand to at least double the current population, if there was enough inventory available.
