saw it too, it looks topped out, is it?Brodees wrote: Drove by today and saw a few panes of glass installed on the east side of the building. Looks really good, but I didn't have my camera with me.

topping out September 28th. They poured the roof deck yesterday. Floors 1-6 should be glassed in by end of Sept.

I love how slender that thing is. KC should be doing so many more of these small footprint tower with only a handful of units.

It looks much bigger from right up next to it than the renderings suggest. I guess that's always the case though.

The light green glass and aluminum lining is horrifying. Looks like 60s crap. Would rather see deep blue with black lining.

It is odd, most current structures have the window framing powder coated black or bronze or pewter.

Drove by this last night and I was kind of scared. It just looks really flat, no detail, no depth, no scale. It makes me think of the new HOK building, an attempt at contemporary/modernism by someone that doesn't "get" contemporary/modernism.
But I'll wait until its finished

I'm worried too...surely it will taint the faux Spanish architecture and parking garages.Long wrote: Drove by this last night and I was kind of scared. It just looks really flat, no detail, no depth, no scale.

Another splendid picture, Grid. You don't realize just how slender 4646 really is until you look at it overhead next to Valencia's fat ass...
