Good pics, but most lean to the right. Maybe a tripod would help!

Re: Random Pictures of Kansas City
is that sculpture in the third picture new? and if so, did the funding come from all the development surrounding it?

The public art thing is very intersting. We have loads of stuff here. I love to see what other cities do.

Hopefully in that picture you will see (in the future) the western tower of Wellington Place...
I love public art. We need even more of it. We should create a public art park. Take a piece of Penn Valley park and use it for this

Re: Random Pictures of Kansas City
The Nelson is considered to be one of the premier outdoor modern sculpture exhibits in the country, one of the man reasons for Hotls minimalist design of the Bloch building. Add that to the huge amount of original classic sculpture on the plaza and our copious amounts of fountains I think we are doing pretty well. In fact, I don't think I've ever been to a city that has as much outdoor art as KC. But I've never been to Europe, Asia or Africa.KCDevin wrote: Hopefully in that picture you will see (in the future) the western tower of Wellington Place...

That being said, more outdoor art is always a good thing.
