2100 wyandotte demolition?
The building across from my loft, 2100 Wyandotte now has rather flimsy barricades up on on the sidewalks all around the building. I know its a PCB contaminated building, and needs to be demolished in a very controlled manner. Has anyone heard what is going on? How can I find out if any demoliton permits have been issued, or what the time line is? Anyone know how to get this info?

Here is the city's database of various permits and complaints. Not sure which one you need or how often these get updated, but it should be in there somewhere....

It will be torn down. Here's a link to a Business Journal article.

Finally! although it is almost a year away, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Once this is torn down, the freighthouse district will really take off. It'll finally help the Stuart Hall Building get renovated and occupied!! Woohoo!!!!
