This base needs to go private. Local owned and operated.  There is no reason why this base can not remain productive, booked and busy.  Other then a total lack of imagination and CEO's making a wreck out of everything they touch.

Today, Delta announced plans to add 30 A321neos bringing their order book up to 155. First delivery will start next year and run throug 2027. Delta 737s and A321 CEOs were delivered from factory to KC for final work, Assume the A321 neos will do the same. It is great to see us build up our aviation ops sector.

I’m still seeing a lot of Eastern Aircraft at the Base here, but see they’re now based somewhere in PA. Are they still utilizing this place as an aircraft base?

Probably not other than what a commercial freight company or the government may charter.
