Blunt is here for another year and a half. Could be a good legacy project.

Re: New Broadway Bridge
I wonder if that's the remake of the "alphabet soup" of exits? Potential stimulus project?

Re: New Broadway Bridge
That big square building at 4th and Broadway was constructed fairly recently. I'm surprised they aren't taking down the Landmark Lofts too, since it will be an island surrounded by viaducts when the new bridge is done. Who will want to live there in basically an interstate interchange?

Re: New Broadway Bridge
Can we get some stimulus dollars for this.
Re: New Broadway Bridge
According to Twitter, the American Jobs Act's transportation funding will be competitive (like TIGER/BUILD):

We'll need a compelling application, but we've done well in previous rounds -- KC has received three grants from TIGER/BUILD.

There’s a 100% chance modot tries to dump their responsibility onto the Fed’s right?
Like no one thinks we’re going to get anything better?

But doesn't the state have to finance part of the project to get matching federal dollars?

Applications for 8, 60ft tall drilling rigs have been submitted to, and determined for approval by, the FAA. I'm only posting the link to one application since they're all the same.
