Kansas City Automotive Museum planning huge expansion

Right now, the museum only has room for around 30 cars in its 10,000 sq. ft. space. There's so much history jammed into the small space, it takes a keen eye to catch it all. Only the most observant visitors would be able to spot the Kansas City Automotive Hall of Fame, which is almost hidden by a Ford Model T built in KC.
Over the weekend, museum leaders announced plans to build their own space, that could octuple the room they have now.
"We hope to expand from 10,000 sq. ft. to somewhere around 60 to 80,000 sq ft," said Fernandez. "Space has always been an issue."
Fernandez says she's not sure exactly where that new museum could be, but they are targeting three areas: in downtown between 18th and Vine and the Crossroads, the West Bottoms or Village West in KCK.
