AllthingsJOCO (not of my doing) is my personal favorite.

I would really like to recruit some of these guys back.  Joemoney would be #1 on my list.

I'd think I'd like to see either Annie or Paintfumes back.  Although Chef's and PPA's posts always did make me laugh.

My prediction:  In 5-10 years from now, this thread will be long forgotten.  Then, some publisher will start a Kansas City-centered magazine, and you will bump this thread saying, "See, look!  I told you so, AllThingsKC!"  Then I will say, "Oh really, Max?  Is that the best you can do?  You're so predictable!"

MaitreD never should have been banned.  Hands down the most entertaining poster in the Kansas City area.

he informed me that the name is KC-to-OP - as in Overland Park.  I think the "ie" is supposed to be the phonetic spelling of "O-P."

I agree that in an attempt to keep the forum from spiraling into nothing but KU-MU flamewars we eradicated the forum of some real characters.

Nah. After my lifetime suspension I would go through spurts of not even reading the rag for a couple weeks here and there. At one point I was IP blocked from even reading so I ended up going like 6 months without reading at one point. I was wading through the forum tonite looking for news on the 9th and Baltimore building to see where it's attempted demo stood, and found this jewel of a thread. It's all good. Not spending as much time on here gave me a lot more time to spend on other forums I enjoy participating in like renfest.com and a couple chef related forums.

I think chef has like 50 sock puppets. I'm not even going to try to weed them all out. It just doesn't matter.
