Is this KC? Or does anyone recognize the city?

it looks like a city in Japan....

KC doesn't have the density shown in the first couple of shots, nor does it have rail transit....
KC Region is all part of the same animal regardless of state and county lines.
Think on the Regional scale.

Yeah, that isn't KC. It's probably somewhere in Japan. Hard to tell exactly where. Could be any of a number of cities, Yokohama, Chiba, Sendai.

But it is in any event a gorgeous song, thanks for sharing.

In case you don't know her, she is Kanako Ito, Concert Mistress of the KC Symphony. Her music can move anyone to tears.

She and her husband Martin bought our house in Parkville when we left KC.

Yeah, I actually went and looked her up after hearing the original video you posted.  :)

Definitely proud to have her here in KC. She's an amazing talent. Everything of hers I've managed to dig up and listen to over the last few days has been amazing. Very cool that she bought your house, I take it you had the opportunity to meet her and her husband? That's pretty awesome.

Almost certainly in Japan.  Notice the driving on the left.  Japan is among only a handful of nations that drive on the left and given the nationality of the artist, well...
