I used this twice yesterday....quick and like the status updates of what cab #, driver name, how far away they are. Both times the cab driver calls me to make sure I did call a cab though, that was weird.
well TK I can't say that the whole company is, but individual drivers of theirs certainly are. and others have refused to take me because they said the fare wasn't worth their time. i try and avoid Yellow Cab at all costs. Atlas Cab is who i usually call.
Glad that yellowcab has fully integrated this into their systems. It has worked for the past 2 years but wasn't entirely integrated. Now, even on yellow cab's website they have a widget there to book a cab.
Entirely frustrating when some cabbie bitches about your credit card or doesn't have a machine that works.
I love this because I can book a cab without talking to anyone and then I can pay in the cab as I arrive to the airport. No fumbling around with cabbies trying to make carbon copies of receipts and then waiting for their slow ass system to process.
