He rang door bell of friends a few doors down and introduced himself. Wanted to calm any fears that his larger than life personality meant larger than life neighborhood presence.

He's a stand up guy. Never had any issues with him or his friends in One or Two light.

Will be interesting to see where demand for co-working space heads as age of COVID may drive more work from home as well as cubicles instead of shared tables with several sitting closely.

I think the co-working spaces may adjust a little bit their design to have an open feel with some personal barriers. Also may see process changes to allow for less in facilities, etc.

I also wonder how many small business owners will be forced to break their current lease yet will need office space again once this is all over? I can see them needing to utilize co-working space until they can work back into renting a larger space.

Btw, I believe there's some very interesting news coming about Spark.

the SPARK work has been very shitty for the pedestrian experience on the NE corner of that intersection. leap of faith every time you poke your head past the entrance that some idiot isn't about to fly through with a right turn on red. also creates a choke point where peds haven't been able to even pretend to socially distance.

Agreed but unfortunately, no matter where they put the temp wall up it was going to suck up most of the sidewalk. It should be going away soon.

It's easy. Take down some traffic lane.

Travis Kelce moved out but his penthouse leased back up recently. Probably the most expensive unit in the building.
Still only 4 units open. Many of them penthouses or higher end units.

One Cardinal Way in STL is getting close to wrapping up construction. 60% leased at this point which is impressive considering they've only been able to do virtual tours for the last 2+ months!

For reference, OCW was 55%+ leased before corona started and is in track go open in late June. 14-16 months to full at this corona rate. Looks like 2 Light was 55-60% leased at open and full within 10 months.

It seems like OCW was on track with One Light’s performance until corona hit

That sidewalk blockage is trash and could be easily fixed by a barricade out there so as you turn that blind corner you don't get clipped by a turning vehicle

I’ve walked that corner hundreds of times and never had an issue with a car. It’s still ugly and awkward.

Doesn't even look passable in a wheelchair...

June update: 4 units open. 3 being studios (so technically an improvement?)

All the 3 studios are the least desirable units as well. Overall, great for a residential property.
