As far as the brick surface and inconstant level? The brick overall has been a nightmare!

As far as the brick surface and inconstant level? The brick overall has been a nightmare!

Yeah. That and just the fact that you can't walk-in a straight line down the east side of the street because its so cluttered and awkwardly setup. From the tree planters, outward opening doors, protruding staircases, streetcar poles, 2 different sets of street lamps, multiple drives, and just general narrowness for how heavily used it is...its almost never a pleasant experience to walk down.

I was with them through the streetcar process and we did discuss how the sidewalk wasn’t a great pedestrian experience. It was already narrow before the additional streetcar infrastructure went in. The only improvement I could see being effective would be removing the planter boxes?

Poor design from the beginning, but not everyone was on the same page with the total footprint of H&R which is where the sidewalk gets pinched down.

I don't know Dave. You're familiar with design embarrassments, but not in regards to actual physical structures, more of the web-based kind.
