it also looks like he's doing it with snow in the background. What a d-bomb.

Bottom line is that the guys in the baggy jeans and oversized t-shirts (white, black, whatever) are always causing the most problems. I've witnessed it all over Westport and at Granfalloon on the Plaza several dozen times. I've also witnessed it in other cities. Maybe we should invite all the wanksta white trash from North KC's "Aces & 8s" club to the P&L District? These dress codes are established for a reason, and it's not due to racism.

Maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that perhaps he lost his coat so he had to wear four shirts- the collars are just turned up to block the wind? &&&&NDTeve wrote: it also looks like he's doing it with snow in the background. What a d-bomb.
Re: Poll: Power & Light District Dress Code
if you haven't watched the business session from last week where the council laid into cordish (a local proxy who happened to be black, actually), please do. it's definitely worth it just to see terry riley talk incessantly about capri pants.

judging someone by the way they are dressed is called profiling.QueSi2Opie wrote: Bottom line is that the guys in the baggy jeans and oversized t-shirts (white, black, whatever) are always causing the most problems. Does that mean I need to get rid of all my cargo pants I use while taking pictures? Sure would miss all those pockets.

Anyone think this isn't a racial thing? Fashions change. Watch what happens when the fashions for inner city males changes and see if the Cordish dress code doesn't change with it.
Re: Poll: Power & Light District Dress Code
But...but...I thought the dress code was just to make sure the district was high class!? They're not targeting a race or culture, they're just making sure nobody looks trashy! Right!?butter_breath wrote: http://www.kansascity.com/entertainment ... 82169.html

Re: Poll: Power & Light District Dress Code
high class is what you won't find in the p&l. the dress code is there to keep out people that their target audience find scary. people don't want to hang out with others who don't look or dress like they do. they don't mind driving past folks like that, but they certainly don't wish to drink and mingle with them.mean wrote: But...but...I thought the dress code was just to make sure the district was high class!?
