I SHOULD HAVE READ THE RAG!
Sounds like she is probably as wise as any of us.  Did she give you hell for not having her call?

Actually, she didn't even care.  I was the one irked at not getting my Ted's Bison Burger.

No she won't.  What's out there for her if she does - YOU?

Will history repeat it's self? What killed the Nazis in Russia?  Logistic, logistic, logistic not location, location, location. Some one wake me up when fine dining comes to the P&L. I doubt those faux franchises could pull of reservations to cover the small swarm of people that want to be seen right now anyways. Wait about 12 months then they will be begging for walk-ins. I bet they start to pay homeless people to walk around with slats on them advertising a no wait experience.

I left last week. I will spread my joy of the P&L to my new neighbors. Most of my friends haven't been downtown in twenty years, they keep their money where they live.

Boy, what interesting reading.

Yes, Cordish should have had the entire KC Live area opened for the at least the Big 12.  Yeah, they were late in getting the property but if the desire was there to open it could have happened - afterall some of the places are opened and will be opened.

The point I learned, and I already knew, was that if I do go to an event at the SC we will still eat close to home.  And if my wife and I do decide to eat dt before the event it will be at least 2 hrs before the event start time (not door opening) and with reservations.

Just think, though, if all of KC Live was opened at this time then the first post is not there.  Then what would you folks have done this afternoon?  Actually do some work at work?
I may be right.  I may be wrong.  But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

what exactly will you spread?  that you have unhealthy bitterness towards a development?  I'm sure they will take your "advice" to heart.

Probably because most places weren't really that worried about rushing their open for a 4 day tournament....I'm sure their business plans didn't say they would live/die based on being open for the tournament.  Sure it's disappointing in the short term, but we will have plenty of events in the future to enjoy all these places.

haha, so true...i said that earlier I'd buy md a beer for making my day more interesting.

To a certain extent that is true.  But that is like a retailer not caring if the store is opened for the Christmas buying season or wait until a Jan. opening.

I will spread stories of homeless trying to invade my car while stopped at a stop light. I will spread stories trashy streets, idiots talking on cell phones while they t-bone your car. I will spread stories of stickers being ripped off of license plates. I will spread stories of cars being broken into numerous times. I will spread stories of taxis parking anywhere they please as long as it is in the center lane by the sprint center. I will spread stories of how bad the school district is. I will spread stories of drunken people in the P&L district throwing bottles because they where to drunk to act right. I have a lot of stories I will spread. Beware when it snows the streets aren't safe.
What I will not spread are lies. I've lived in the area for 15 years this time it has gone to the dogs fast.

That wasn't a homeless person attacking your car, that was Maitre D.  He was drunk and thought you were 'his woman'.  She was the one parked in the middle of the street.

In the burbs you have "critical mass" to watch out for you and make you feel like you belong. P&L will be a larger version of Westport.
