Why? Are you opposed to gambling? It's a huge money maker for sports and only a matter of time before owners/leagues find a way to make more profit off it. If you think KC will attract a team just based off *Sprint Center you're wrong.

Just personally find it fratty lame. Dudes having to put money on everything to extra the experience cause life is dead to them. Just watch the game! Why does every golf shot, trash can toss and sport score have to have money on it to make it more entertaining? I like my sports and entertainment decaffeinated.

Wonder if Glendale has lost lots of money on the Arena and NFL Stadium, People in the Phx valley don't really like going to Glendale cause its pretty far, most of the money and i would assume sports fans live in the East Valley of Phoenix.

Correct, I believe they have gone through some sketchy times in the past especially the Great Recession but may be on the up and up. They financed 2/3 of the arena and then when the Coyotes went bankrupt the city got stuck with the remaining 1/3.

I know people like to dream but there are too many other cities our size growing much faster that would support a pro franchise. At this point KC is tapped out with the Chiefs and Royals. Some people would argue we have a 3rd with Sporting. KC just doesn't have the population or corporate sponsorship needed right now. That being said I think it would be great if we could. Just being realistic.

He's not talking about moving the entire franchise. He's saying there are options to move the Pelicans temporarily if the hurricane gets bad enough- New Orleans played in Oklahoma City for TWO years in 2005-07 when Katrina hit them.

To answer the earlier question- given that they'll very likely need to stay within the central time zone and not want to worry about NHL scheduling conflicts- I think KC is the only logical option.

Katrina was so bad it caused them to miss 2 years in Oklahoma. It's possible Ida just causes them to need to move out for a month or two.

I understand you are keen on a sports team in the T-Mobile center as many of us are. Now is not an appropriate time to talk about grabbing NoLa’s teams though. Ida is still over Louisiana. Let’s just hope at the moment that everyone is safe and property damage is minimal.

For NBA, nothing's gonna relocate until the 2030's most likely.

It will basically just come down to whether a Mahomes-led ownership group beats out a competitor. Which I think it will. KC by the 2030's is gonna be amazing too.
