Ha!  I was waiting for some fluke offsides or imaginary foul.  Great work by the US to not give up, though pretty dang scary at times defensively.  I don't care who we play next, but I will make up for all the beer I couldn't drink today on Saturday.  Wouldn't mind another crack at Ghana or Germany for poetic reasons (last two teams that knocked us out of tournaments), but I'd probably rather play Serbia.

I read an interesting article on this some days ago - apparently TV is only on the air for something like six to eight hours a day anyway in the North and since the games are mostly taking place late at night Korea time, they have plenty of hours to re-edit the footage or just choose not to show it at all if they don't like the outcome.

But the live broadcast of North Korea's second game, against Portugal, did not go as planned. The Letter from China's chief World Cup correspondents Max Klein, Justin Orr, and Julia Piao tracked the coverage: "North Korean announcers were very vocal in the first half, saying that they might even have a chance to win, but were completely silent after Portugal's fourth goal, changing the feed to other programming directly after the game without any post-game commentary."

North Korea succumbed 7-0, and the result does not appear to have been reported in the North Korean press. No sign of it in North Korea's main newspaper - accessible by a Japan-based portal -and, so far, the official North Korean news agency has not yet gotten to the story. Actually we have been so far. Two goals taken away and the US wins our group. We also should have had 2 penalties in the Algeria match that weren't called.

ESPN is going to have cameras in the Living Room of the P&L District during Saturday's game.  They plan on showing reactions of the game from bars all over the world, and KC will be one of those places.  So, go there and make KC look good!  And remember, don't wear your KU hats because we all know KU hates America.
