1 Chase Patton QB 6-4/205 Columbia (MO) Rock Bridge list
Might not get as much pub as other QBs - but is just as good.
2 Tony Temple RB 5-10/192 Kansas City (MO) Rockhurst list
Gets compared to another KC great - Darren Sproles - and for good reasons.
3 Kyle Riggs OL 6-5/303 Festus (MO) Missouri
The forgotten man by other recruiting analysts, but this Tiger pledge is a beast.
4 Brett Gallimore OL 6-5/290 Riverside (MO) Park Hill South list
The highlight clip of him putting a kid into a kicking net speaks for itself.
5 Jerrill Humphrey WR 6-4/210 Highland (MO) list
College coaches compare him to Randy Moss with his size, speed combination.
6 Van Alexander LB 6-1/210 Columbia (MO) Rock Bridge Missouri
A college coach simply calls him "The Beast."
7 Darrell Jackson QB 6-2/215 Webster Groves (MO) list
The top player in St. Louis? Many coaches say yes.
8 William Franklin WR 6-1/175 St. Louis (MO) Vashon Missouri
Missouri pledge has amazing size and speed to work with.
9 Michael Keenan LB 6-2/220 Kansas City (MO) Oak Park Nebraska
Husker pledge might be sleeper pick for top player in KC.
10 Nick Patterson ATH 6-2/200 St. Louis (MO) Hazelwood Central list
Patterson could play a number of positions, including receiver or corner.
11 Arthur Miller LB 6-3/205 Kirkwood (MO) list
Scary outside linebacker that just makes plays.
12 William Moore WR 6-2/200 Hayti (MO) Hayti Missouri
Big strong physical receiver that also can fly.
13 Steve Redmond DB 6-0/200 Kansas City (MO) Rockhurst Missouri
Not just Tony Temple's cousin, Steve can also play. Heading to MU.
14 Edgar Givens DB 6-4/205 New Madrid (MO) New Madrid Co Central Missouri
Another Tiger pledge that could end up at outside linebacker with his frame.
15 Remond Willis LB 6-1/220 New Madrid (MO) New Madrid Co Central Illinois
Illinois pledge has impressive nose for the football.
16 J.R. Kraemer TE 6-5/212 St Louis (MO) Lafayette list
Great frame is the top thing college coaches talk about.
17 Brian Barmann TE 6-4/205 Weston (MO) West Platte list
Dominates in small school ball.
18 Sam Scroggins TE 6-5/245 St. Louis (MO) McCluer North list
Could grow into an offensive lineman in college.
19 Taylor Bennett QB 6-3/200 St. Louis (MO) Lafayette list
Impressed at quite a few camps this past summer.
20 Mack Kimble RB 6-0/182 New Madrid (MO) New Madrid Co Central list

I have to wonder how many on the list or of Kansas' top 20 make any kind of national list. KU, K-State, and MU have to recruit from out of state mostly.

the funny thing about KSU's program is we've never had a great recruiting class...it's not all about getting who the "experts" say you should get....just look at Brad Smith...he wasn't highly touted....
Then you've got UT who always is Top 5 recruiting and can't do anything with it.

I agree, KC. Recruiting highly touted classes don't ensure anything do they? Your example of Texas is right on the money.KC wrote:the funny thing about KSU's program is we've never had a great recruiting class...it's not all about getting who the "experts" say you should get....just look at Brad Smith...he wasn't highly touted....

The reason I posted that list was to show that Pinkel is getting some of the more notable football players IN state.
I'd like to see "Missouri" written next to some more names.....I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
KC, which of those names are committed to KSU?

none....that I saw...just said there were a lot that had KSU in their "list" of teams...including Tony Temple...that's who I want. the rest we'll get out of Texas, Florida, and JuCo's.

Does Temple live on the Missouri side of the line or does he just attend a high school in Missouri?KC wrote:none....that I saw...just said there were a lot that had KSU in their "list" of teams...including Tony Temple...that's who I want. the rest we'll get out of Texas, Florida, and JuCo's.
(I can't stand Rockhurst athletics. But there's no denying they are GOOD.)

Then Pinkel DEFINITELY needs to get this kid to commit to the Tigers and let KSU and whoever else fight it out for the thugs in Texas and CA and the juco circuit.KC wrote:I believe he lives in MO.
