is phillip morris the biggest employer in richmond?
Oh.
As for Philip Morris, I had no idea. Not to let ignorance deter, I did a quick search. Here's what I found:
Apparently, Dominion Resources, Inc. is the largest employer in Richmond, with 7,800 employees. Richmond is the company's corporate headquarters. This is according to
http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag ... 67000.html and a subsequent search on the Dominion site for "richmond virginia".
According to
http://www.philipmorrisusa.com/en/about ... lities.asp, "Philip Morris USA’s (PM USA) offices and facilities include headquarters, manufacturing, processing and support facilities in the Richmond, Virginia area."
According to
http://www.philipmorrisusa.com/en/faq/g ... wmanyinvir, "Approximately 6,400 employees work in central Virginia."
So I learned something today!
