Today, Mayor Lyda Krewson, Jason Kander, Mayor Quinton Lucas, and others dedicated the land that will soon be home to the Veterans Community Project St. Louis Tiny Home Village. The goal is to house out homeless veterans and give them a place to seek care and be part of the community again. In addition to the 50 tiny houses, a community center and outreach enter will be built. The land being used for the project sits just West of Grand Boulevard on Aldine Avenue in North City. The land is currently vacant.

Veterans Community Project is based in Kansas City and built a tiny house village on Troost to house veterans.

Positives:
aiming for affordability and clearly trying hard
the idea of people having green space for community
the parking scale

negatives:
the scale of the design is off. They could put the entire project on a single block without moving away from the same size of structure
the laziness in the plan, they didn't put connections from homes to cars even in their rendering.

IIRC, VCP utilizes volunteer labor which means things get built-in spurts. Separating everything into 3 smaller segments makes it easier to build out individual "neighborhoods" instead of a singular mass that is both inhabited and under construction.
