The sweet thing posed for a long time.
It’s fascinating to see how these branches drape.
One way to deal with a portrait-oriented image is to copy it, flip the copy and paste it next to the original image. What you see is what you get.
What is there to say? Nice flowers.
What might lie ahead?
They seem so happy to be alive.
Not sure what this fruit might be.
But doesn’t it add to the beauty of these trees!
The trees in this landscape arboretum were quite beautiful.
So I captured a few more.
Truly stunning.
The flowers were acceptable, too.

Re: Minnesota 2015 Part 3
Almost like Christmas.
Rough-looking fruit or vegetable.
Trying to emerge
Already there.
Fake kids.
Real son.
Fake kids again.
Pool drain.
Back to roses.
And other flower things.
There is a turkey trying to hide in the tree’s shadow.
Cone flowers are always welcome.

Some sort of fruit on this tree.
Reaching in all directions.
These must be male cone flowers.
Teensy flower.
Pick a tree, any tree.
Must have been a nice cloud up there.
Variety is the spice of life.
Portrait-oriented image pasted on top of itself with a few vertical strips deleted.
Reaching for attention.
Stems with purple hats.
Sun lovers.
Odd flower thing.

Re: Minnesota 2015 Part 3
Not sure what this thing is, but it is a pretty color.
We see this flower quite a bit here in Kansas City. However, the picture was taken in Minnesota.
It all seemed so symmetrical.
Fingers are necessary to demonstrate the tiny size.
They like to face the sun and put on a show.
This one’s all wrapped up in itself.
A little blue one jumping out at you.
Trying to grab your attention.
Speaking of putting on a show...
The blue, spiky flowers want to take over.
Another show of sorts.
Time for a bright, pink something-or-other.

Re: Minnesota 2015 Part 3
Trying to look like the sun.
Daisies abound.
Pretty in pink.
I did a lens blur on the background. Now this thing is jumping out at you.
Sunny side up!
It’s as if they are marching.
A place to congregate.
The reds stand up nicely to the greens.
You knew they’d have a fountain in this place.
I copied and pasted a few of these flowers to fill in some sparse spots. I don’t even know where they are now.
This was a portrait-oriented image. It’s mostly on the right side. I used its bottom for the background. Made a few cuts.
These leaves compete with flowers.

You have to take a break once in a while.
There is always a place to sit.
Almost a face.
Competing whites.
What are you wearing today?
I did nothing to this picture except crop it. It seems to exude its own light.
Attractive array of pink and green.
Finding sunlight.
Remains of a bird convention, no doubt.
Sunlit leaves.
Waiting to burst.
Lavender blue, dilly dilly.

Re: Minnesota 2015 Part 3
Seriously pink cone flowers here, and a few purple interlopers.
I think a sneaky gardener did some pruning on this one.
Attractive display.
A little cohabitation can be fun.
Don’t you wish you could hear what they were saying?
I suppose you could connect the dots.
Now if only there were troubled waters below...
Almost like a Disneyland park.
Snowballs for the picking.
It won’t hurt anyone if you throw it.
Rather formal.
Play nice with your firry friends

Re: Minnesota 2015 Part 3
A rather unusual view of falls.
A second picture of the same view was so different, I had to include it. Kind of like twins.
The bright, white sign was obnoxious, so I grayed it out.
Cartoonish background, but it will have to do.
Do you prefer strawberries or flowers?
To bee or not to bee...
The bright, maroon leaves look sticky.
I never imagined finding flowers that looked like starfish.
One of these flowers is a transplant I copied from the cropped-out part of the original image. Too sparse otherwise.
Like crepe paper.
Showing off in the sun.
Such a pretty flower deserves another presentation.
