Well it was 10pm on a Thurs. night in the financial district...shouldn't expect too many pedestrians although around the cathedral there were more than I would expect.

It always cracks me up when people are shocked that I might go thru downtown at night ( sometimes I come the "scenic way" on my way home from work ) - like it's all dangerous or somethin'. I always have to say "What the hell are you talking about? There's no one down there." lol.

Tonight there was a lot of foot traffic downtown around the convention center, hotels and restaurants. Italian Gardens was packed!DiggityDawg wrote:It always cracks me up when people are shocked that I might go thru downtown at night ( sometimes I come the "scenic way" on my way home from work ) - like it's all dangerous or somethin'. I finally divorced beer and proposed to whiskey, but I occassionally cheat with fine wine.

Yea, I can always tell when there is a large convention in town. Crown Center was a zoo Friday. Who's in town?QueSi2Opie wrote:Tonight there was a lot of foot traffic downtown around the convention center, hotels and restaurants.
