KC Region is all part of the same animal regardless of state and county lines.
Think on the Regional scale.

Does the ticket price include food and drink or is the ticket just for entrance and food / drink is seperate per vender?

decent turnout. good sampling of the neighborhood's best. grunauer and los tules had the most generous portions. this event begs to be held in the street where there's a bit more shade and interesting views.

anyone else make it?

Food was excellent. Music was good.  It could have been much better publicized.  I was surprised there weren't more people.  Not even the Crossroads neighborhood association web site had any info on it.  I found out about it from a friend who happened to tweet at the last minute.  I agree the atmosphere would be so much better as a street party instead of a parking lot tent.  Better yet, this event cries out for a public square or park in the Crossroads.  I hope it continues to grow.

My wife and I volunteered for the 4 to 6 shift helping the restaurants stay in ice, empty trash etc.  It was a lot of fun and not much to do, ice or trash wise.  I?m sure the 6 to 8 group was busy.  Otherwise we spent the first 2 hours watching a back entrance, drinking beer and sampling the food.  Webster House had scallops on lentils.  Hamburger Mary?s had meatballs.  Otto?s had meatloaf sliders; Los Tules had a full plate of food.  Jackstack was tasty with burnt ends, sausage and beans.  Cashew had something good, don?t recall.  Grunauer give you a full plate of food, quite excellent!  Overall a good food experience.  It was a little hot but not bad and the bands were rocking.  Great outdoor event.  We finished the evening at Grunauer watching a little football.  We will certainly volunteer again next year.  Should have been many more people there, but like others, I don?t think it was advertised very well.
I'll have what the gentleman on the floor is having.

I suppose this could have been a little trial run to see how it would run on a small scale and to prep for a much larger event for the next time whether that be in the same format or maybe even moving it to a park or street party venue.  I wish I knew about it as I would have come down and hit it up too.  I'll look forward to next time.

OY. So much for that thought. LOL.  Hopefully, the organizers will get the word out better next time (year 3).
