Re: Garmin Expansion
^They have a decent enough chunk of smartwatch market as well depending on how measured, which many didn't expect. But in general there's also significant non-consumer use they specialize in. Now if Garmin leaders would just be a little more *locally* philanthropic or involved with more local sponsorship. They seem pretty disconnected from KC interests.

Re: Garmin buys
They’re doing quite well in the wearable tech market. As well, their commercial services for the nautical and aviation markets definitely helps keep their bottom line up.Highlander wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 2:26 pmGlad to see a KC company do well. I was concerned about Garmin at one point as smart phones had taken over a lot of what they did but they seem to maintained for themselves a sizeable niche.Anthony_Hugo98 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 8:28 amMakes sense for them, in the last 5 years, I’ve seen the personal GPS systems the military purchased go between a few companies to solely Garmin, so I imagine they need to expand their manufacturing or warehouse space.
