I drove through Northtown over lunch and noticed that the building that First Watch (and a beauty salon, apparently, per Google Maps) was in has been completely demolished and the site's been cleared; all of this must have done within the past month or two. Does anyone know what's going in at that spot?

building renovations for a roofing problem. maybe they decided the building wasn't worth renovating
sometimes the issues with a building just make the structural stability questionable
if I were betting, I would say that they will build a new structure there

The building was owned by NT Realty and was demolished due to the roof issues. They are going to eliminate that second row of street parking and build so as to be in line with the other buildings along Armour Road. First Watch is slated to go back in after construction is complete.

NKC has done a good job of keeping their old buildings intact and making it look good. like the CVS even put in a mock second floor to fit with the look of the intersection they're at
