This construction bid came across recently. Does anyone know what this could be? The project is located somewhere in Jackson county.

Edit: Missouri has a 3rd lesser-known military base located in Jackson County. The Marine Corp. Mobilization Command is HQ'd out of south KCMO so I expect this is connected to that.

I know somebody that works at the new nuclear bomb parts plant in SKC. They are building a second building across the highway.

It moved down to 150 about a decade ago. Bannister was probably about half torn down the last time I drove by it.

From this article, it sounds like a second campus is being considered as well as a expansion.

RFI for expansion went out this month. 5,000 new NNSA jobs will be added. Option A: 250 acres in KC Metro core 5 counties or Option B: 450-500 in greater 8 counties.
