New housing and parking garage coming

Post by KC ROO »

On the news this morning there was a stroy, concerning westport. Starting next year there will be more apartments, a 158 car parking garage with town homes above, and 10,000sq feet of retail space. this is all expected to cost about 15 million, but it will be a great thing for the are considering in the "actual" westport area theer is only 1 apartment and parking there is horrible.

Yeah this is good news. We should get more information from the Star tomorrow but it looks like there were 4 major sites. One site being on top of the current large parking garage that is to the SE of the grocery store.

They also stated there would be more retail coming but didn't give specifics...said this should all be under construction this spring/summer.

I like the plan alot but where are the announcements of new tenants? That's what they promised a few months back...

I'm so happy to see the options for urban housing growing so quickly....anybody know how the City Place apartments are doing as far as filling up?
