Doesn't sound like a ax throwing ramen shop chain - so that's good. Wonder if it's the Brown's Deli folks branching out. Seems like they've been doing well lately.bspecht wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 6:23 pm Brown's Cafe coming to 4709 Central

You haven’t lived until you’ve been to a ramen throwing ax shop.

I am seeking investors for a new venture that will capitalize on the popular trend of ax grinding, with a location in West Plaza. DM to learn more about this exciting opportunity. Use the code West Edge for a special KCRag discount.
Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)
Genuinely surprised that the axe grinding market isn't saturated already. But I wish you the best of luck.
Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)
Does anyone know if forever 21 is closing on the plaza or are they still negotiating the lease rates?

Plaza has about 40 appeals in progress so I can imagine if they aren't successful a lot of people-businesses are going to seriously consider closing and moving.

40 appeals? Details?
Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)
What is the end game for the people who own the plaza, I can’t imagine many places would be thrilled to pay the rents they are asking. Retail is quite shaky nationally as well.

Which brings us back to this thread proposing significant change as outlined. Can re-vote. I"ll send to Plaza owners again. They did respond in past when I sent to them...

They can start turning into a true mixed-use neighborhood by adding residential on top of the existing garages. Yet keep just enough unique shopping/eats to maintain a regional draw.

Is that site big enough for an Urban Target?MidtownCat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 4:26 amI’ve been told that’s the location targeted for the largest CVS in the city. As we know, The Country Plaza desperately needs a drug store!
