Discuss items in the urban core outside of Downtown as described above. Everything in the core including the east side (18th & Vine area), Northeast, Plaza, Westport, Brookside, Valentine, Waldo, 39th street, & the entire midtown area.

topping out September 28th.  They poured the roof deck yesterday.  Floors 1-6 should be glassed in by end of Sept.

I love how slender that thing is.  KC should be doing so many more of these small footprint tower with only a handful of units.

It looks much bigger from right up next to it than the renderings suggest. I guess that's always the case though.

The light green glass and aluminum lining is horrifying.  Looks like 60s crap.  Would rather see deep blue with black lining.

    It is odd, most current structures have the window framing powder coated black or bronze or pewter.

Drove by this last night and I was kind of scared.  It just looks really flat, no detail, no depth, no scale.  It makes me think of the new HOK building, an attempt at contemporary/modernism by someone that doesn't "get" contemporary/modernism.

But I'll wait until its finished  8)

i know this has been answered 20 times already, but, what was there before this construction, i am not getting a visual. was it simply grass, or a surface lot or something?
