Yeah I miss the original Ragazza but the new place still has a great hangout vibe even though larger, and similar foodie oriented menu. We hit it about every other month. Would've been great if she could've kept the old place and expanded to this space as a new concept, a tangent anyway, but she doesn't seem to have that level of aspiration. KC doesn't have very many nook&cranny above avg restaurants like large cities have many of, so it's sort of a loss. Large spaces tend to be the expectation here.

What took over the old Ragazza space? A space already built out as a restaurant and with decent traffic already should be ripe for a new place.

I thought 303 was expanding because Ragazza moved. :)

At the corner of Armor/Broadway the curved building is being gutted out and has a FlexBuild sign. Has been going on for a while. Any clue what this is?

FlexBuild did some restaurants like Lidia's, Unforked and Brown&Loe but also Verizon stores to DQ.

I was told KC Life owns the building and we’re going to be trying for a restaurant in the location. No idea how accurate that information is.

Someone in the Broadway thread said the same thing - owned by KC Life and searching for a tenant. That was a few months ago.

Side note, 303 is the classiest gay bar/restaurant I've ever been to. (and I've traveled extensively.) Gourmet food. Fresh-cut flowers on every table. Huge paintings in both rooms. Copper bar. It's beautiful! I hope they do expand into the old Ragazza spot!

Was there a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I agree: very nice place.
