Does anyone know what this obelisk-looking building was on Jefferson Street? It looks like it was torn down between 2007-2008

New house on the SE corner of W. 21st Street and Belleview. Another house will be built to the south.

I think it was planned to have 5 of those houses built rather close together (near zero-lot-line). The site plan was posted here. I'm not sure if plans have changed.

Why would you build a brand new house and STILL have a TV mounted above a fireplace? SMDH.

The roof deck photos look like a superspreader event.

Isn't this a thing people do? TVs above fire place seems pretty normal for new builds.

If I lived there, I would put the TV in the fireplace. And burn it.

I felt so bad for the lady pouring drinks for the wealthy maskless shits on that patio.

Nice house. I was looking at the environs on Google Map as I'm not that familiar with this part of the west side and noticed this bizarre looking ugly thing up the street at 21st and Jarboe (east side of Jarboe/west side of 21st). This is a pretty new house. WTF were they thinking?

I like to see the area gentrify but it's being done poorly overall. That hillside should have tiered houses that are far more dense than they are and some of what is being built there is just god awful.

That house is ugly, but I guess the builder bought the land for a pretty penny and only had so much to spend on a new house with a good view. Still though, there could’ve been a better approach taken to the design aspect of the house.

Pitiful. It has been there since at least 2007. It used to be all grey and looked even worse, or more bleak at least.

Looks like a modern take on Burutalism. Not to my taste but not bad all the same.
