Always complaints about parking. In a neighborhood with empty lots for more than 48 homes

Walked past Westside Flats yesterday and it appears to be complete, with some limited occupancy. Nice mix of materials and scale between the townhomes and larger structure. Kind of a cool double sided fireplace with seating around the exterior side on the corner of 17th and Madison - a surprisingly open and semi-public space, unless there are plans to fence it in. Really like the rooftop patio as well.
Still, the lack of additional/continued retail space along 17th remains a bummer. The corner spot on 17th with patio would have been a prime location and nice bridge between the retail node at 17th/Summit and the smaller storefronts to the west, especially now that Mattie Rhodes will be moving into new construction at the end of the street. In total though, thumbs up!

Is la bodega renovating the old cell phone store next to their building? Looks like counters and serving windows being put in and new outdoor seats

Found a permit from March 2019 describing the construction and it was for Tassos?

Yeah the owner of Tasso's owns that tiny corner piece. I can't remember what the plan was, but he might be planning to lease it to La Bodega

we need a good Greek/Mediterrian place downtown, cross roads. There is one on Grand downtown that is not bad but can't think of a go to in Crossroads. Heck just a good Gyro spot would be great

Ask and ye shall receive. The old Lil's/Novel/temp-Fox-and-Pearl-space on 17th street is now a Turkish restaurant called Clay & Fire. This was planned well before Fox and Pearl left, I believe. I haven't been and don't know about curbside carry-out, etc., but it sounds like a nice addition of an underrepresented cuisine.
