I can't imagine there are nine votes for this project.

The developers never got their act together. KC could probably use this type of property but these guys didn’t know what they were doing.

The KCDC has a giant model of Downtown, featuring a building on the Bravo site. It's probably a student project or something, but still interesting.

It’s at least ten years old.

That was the KC Ballet but they found a less expensive alternative.

Bravo will be reintroduced once Corona settles down.

Some seems fishy here to all of a sudden want to reintroduce the plan. Their intentions probably remain the same but something seems up here. Do they think that they’ll all of a sudden have a great chance of getting this approved? There’s probably some financial backing that not many people know about. I hope it happens but man, something is up.

Any correlation to The Webster House closing "for good."

I'm surprised. Considering the current pandemic and how hard hit the hospitality industry has been you'd think a luxury hotel is the last thing on the development list.

I have no information on the current proposal, but if it's like the last - good luck.

Still so tone deaf. I can't imaging a palatable TIF out of this crowd.

A little bit off topic but the Revised PAC TIF Plan reminds me of cruising past the huge empty lot where the arts campus was to be built recently. It remains such an eyesore, across from the Kauffman. This was a flagship project for the region and it seems like it just disappeared after the momentum was sucked out of it due to lack of state financing and whatever internal issues they ran into at UMKC.

Nothing to add here but hope that we see a new plan come to the table sooner than later, and ideally not something that is watered down beyond recognition. The conservatory, and the local arts scene, deserve a home run here.

What are they asking for this time? I wouldn't find a tif with a payment in lieu of taxes plan unreasonable.

It just seems like they piss everyone off.

When the hotel lodging president is like nah we don't need more hotels down here, best of luck getting any incentives.

Do it on your own dime? All for it.
