The first stairwell is in so the height of the project is visible.

Not much to see yet, but progress is happening

It's much easier to see from the Oak viaduct

And also the top of the CMH parking garage.

Nice project, but this was by far the best spot for a baseball stadium. The only other location would be 18th and Broadway south of the Kauffman Center. If you can't do that location, I would leave the stadium at the TSC.

I think that spot was awkward for a stadium with the railroad tracks. Maybe if they tunneled over the tracks.

Target Stadium is one of the smallest at 760x720.

The empty school site is 325x275. Thinking a stadium could go there is laughable

The 18th and Oak site was 640x680. It's a hair too small even whole. Maybe if they elevated it two stories in the air over the railroad tracks
The large East Village site is 810x580. Target field would fit in it with minor changes to the upper deck and outfield arms, like pushing more to behind first base and less around the outfield

I think the 3 major projects going on DT right now are close to 3 of my favorites. This one because it (begins to) links east-west Xroads. Reverb because it has some height and nice design. City Club because it is the entry to DT from the Midtown, a nice design, and a whole city block of revitalization. All together these are close to 1,000 new units?! What amazes me further is just how much more space there is to develop in the Xroads.

This project has a surprising presence from Liberty Memorial.

Seems extremely tall for an all wood structure. What's the limit on building up with wood? The building in the foreground is 5 floors. The elevator shaft behind seems even taller (could just be the perspective?).

Iirc, 6 for stick frame. Unlimited for engineered products like CLT.

This will help fill in this part of the City.

That second picture really brings out the highway-esque qualities of Oak. Residents crossing at 19th will need to keep their heads on a swivel for 45-mph red light runners.
