Love these angles. You don't see them often. Quite a companion to the Lead Bank building!

Great footage, really helps to show how much this complements the surrounding buildings, and the area as a whole!

This is a great project and that video shows how far DTKC has come in the last decade to two. Can’t wait to see more projects like this one replace those surface lots!

Some further updates from CitySceneKC:

Regarding the roof top bar:
The top floor features a space open to residents and the public that will be what’s described as a cocktail bar concept. The 800 square-foot bar is on the north side and includes a 400 square-foot outdoor patio with a stunning view of the downtown skyline.

The south two-thirds of the top floor is dedicated to resident amenities including a lounge area, a kitchenette and bar, and meeting space.

Also ftr, Kevin might be wrong in his article. I'm moving to this area so I have been in good contact with them all 😅

Reverb is doing staged move ins starting Aug 1st on the lower half, and then mid month for the upper half.

City club is still hoping to start opening mid July, also very staged move ins.

I don't know artistry.

Going to be lots of new people in the area though which is great.

It's called Mercury Room and they have applied for a liquor license:

Same team as Monarch Bar on the Plaza.

What an absolutely gorgeous concept! I am digging this building so much, hopefully they build the light in the crossroads soon after 3-4. I really feel that in the next 10-15 years the crossroads could be a visual extension of the cbs

Glad to see Manica was left with this space and not B&M. I am hopeful Copaken picks this architect for their next residential project. Smaller KC player with an action packed, high end portfolio.

While I think Manica does nice tenant improvement stuff like this bar, for wholesale building design there’s a lot of other local firms I’d suggest before them.
